The Crackdown Project - Billie Ray Martin's homage to cult electro band Cabaret Voltaire
The Light Programme mix of Billie Ray Martin's 'The Crackdown' can be found on 'The Crackdown Project - Vol.2 - Darkness Restored' (released 15 March 2010 on Disco Activisto).
The Light Programme is Stephen Mallinder and Steve Cobby, and is a Steel Tiger project.
Vol. 1 (Sold Out To Disco) of Billie Ray Martin's 'The Crackdown Project' went straight into Juno's download top 10 and number 1 in their electrohouse chart on its release. From then on it's been an encouraging journey, with multiple blog posts, extensive press coverage and overwhelming dj praise - plus radio play including Radio Eins RBB.
